Here are the lists of the books chosen for this year's Battle!
For the past few weeks, Ms. Kawa's grade 1 class enjoyed reading and singing along to Pete the Cat books. We ended our series making some Pete the Cat hats!
~That's groovy! THANK YOU to everyone that supported our school and virtual Scholastic Book Fair!
Our library was able to purchase MANY new books for our library and more are still to come! A special THANK YOU goes out to our Rayleigh PAC for funding virtual visits from two esteemed Canadian authors: Kenneth Oppel and Kevin Sylvester! Students in Ms. Hassall, Mrs. Gauley, Mrs. Tweed, and Ms. Hendry's classes had the opportunity to "meet" the authors, learn about their writing, and ask questions about their books. We have many of their books in our library, so we were very excited to be able to spend some time with them!
